Svenja Thoes: Breakfast with Bob from Kona: 2023

Svenja Thoes, from Germany, did not swim, bike, and run until she won a contest to participate in 70.3 Mallorca. She was a flight attendant at the time, and fit in training as she traveled with the airline. So how did she do? Finished 2nd and qualified for the world championships in Las Vegas. Her first time in Kona? Finished as the top age grouper and 15th woman overall.

Thank you, Bob and Svenja – great to hear about such a naturally talented athlete (would love to hear about her parents – love that her mom called her out)! Her dynamic personality reminds me of Chrissie Wellington. Best of luck this weekend Svenja – though I don't think you will need it!
