Just installed a new wheelset, light bicycle with bitex hubs. The hub came with a couple of spacers (technically one spacer and one O ring) sitting on the free hub (picture 1) are they necessary? Where would they fit in the arrangement?
I couldn’t get the locking to bite with them installed so I took them off. Cassette fits on now but it also out of tune despite being di2. Should it not be aligned perfectly the same as my previous?
There is also a third spacer/washer that was under the lock ring, but it’s slightly larger than the lock ring itself so even after tightening the lock ring it managed to pop out and get slightly bent, is this one necessary?

The spacer would be to accommodate a 10 speed cassette. The fact that the cassette is not exactly in the same place is normal. They are often close, but other variables come into play. If the lockring engages fully, and the cassette is tight, you are ready to go.
