I’m always entertained when I find a nice and relatively new car like this has changed plates. I’m sure it’s not always the case that the driver has googled me, but I can’t help feeling that it happens regularly and that that is one of the reasons people buy a different plate to put on their car after being caught.

  1. Convertible drivers do make it easy for you don’t they ??

Terrifying the way he swerved in the lane and had to look up to correct himself. 0:46

Out of interest have you ever filmed anyone distracted and having a bump with the car in front or similar ??

  2. I'm curious to know why someone would change their plate given it makes no difference to their insurance renewal.
I assume it is only so that they can't be shamed if people look it up and find the incident.
But how regularly would that happen?

  3. What is the purpose of listing the number plate? If said vehicle is sold on or even on a test drive by someone who is not the owner, what do you aim to achieve by listing it?

  4. Current reg for that car is XO08STU. Last keeper change was on 14/10/2022. If the incident was filmed prior to that date, the private plate belongs to someone else.

  5. I have had 2 cars roll into me ,albeit at very low speed, and on both occasions it was because the drivers were texting on their phones so this "we were stationary"doesnt wash one bit with me.
Cant be any excuses from this one who should know better and he deserves a very hefty fine

  6. This muppet so engrossed in his mobile phone not a ware of his surroundings driving no hands on the wheel is just insane, some person could have stepped out in front of him while he was looking at his phone and the first thing he would have heard would be a bang and wondered what it was, total idiot..

  7. Driver distracted from what's happening ahead of him by using his mobile. Driver also distracted from what's going on ahead by having a conversation with Mikey behind him.

  8. I have a private number plate, and changing to one will not evade the Court system, as everything (the history) transfers to the new plate while the original plate is then available for sale by the DVLA to anyone. If unsold, when he changes car to a new one then the DVLA ensures the original plate goes back to the original car and so on. All driving offences follow the driver regardless, so it’s only a matter of time for the Courts to deal with this driver

  9. When you share the video with the met does their system have an upload function or are you sharing a link to the file. If a link is it acceptable to share a private YouTube video?

  10. Well done Mikey! When I was a police officer I went to at least three fatal accidents that were definitely caused by idiots using their mobile phones. NOTHING is so important you can’t pull over and park before using your phone.

  11. I see so many people using phones when they are driving I wonder what sort of exciting high-flying lifestyle they lead, are they buying shares, selling gold bullion, sending a message to their shareholders, or asking their girlfriends what is for tea, it must be essential that's for sure,

  12. In the U.K. it’s been done for so long that people don’t give a feck. They increased the fines, still didn’t stop them. Instead of just growing a pair our police and government accept this is the norm. Like driving about on the roads in illegal electric kick scooters. If you hit one, it’s you the legal driver that’s at fault…. Go figure and write to the police how and why

  13. Wow. I've a open top sports car (was considering the f-type for a while, too). When the top is down everyone can see into the car. So he must have known he'd be seen on his phone, while stopped and moving. Amazing level of 'couldn't care less' but you got him!
Why can't the police do this, as it's as easy as riding a bike (literally).
    Keep up the great work!
