You’ve got the motion, you just need to keep your arms extended a bit longer, pushing with your legs to bring the front end up more, then you explode with you legs bringing your hips to the bars and letting the bike come up under you. You’ve got it, you just need more reps to build strength and timing.

  2. commit to the “wheelie” part, for my highest bunnys it really feels like I’m on my rear wheel almost the entire time until I push my handlebars forward.

    it makes it “feel” like you didn’t get any air because your rear wheel is so much lower than the front wheel, but as soon as you push those handlebars forward… BOOM you’re way up there with both wheels now

    when I was super young learning on BMX bikes with my friends, once we figured this out the hardest part was literally committing to the landing lol but on a mtb I notice bunnyhops don’t ever “feel” high even when they are pretty high
