This is a Tracer2 from Noxgear, and they’re around $50 USD (they are usually on sale). A few years ago, I saw someone running in my neighborhood with one of these, and I immediately went online to see what it was because I was very impressed.
Next to my helmet, it’s the best money I’ve spent where protection goes. Drivers stop noticeably further away from me, it’s very clear they see me. It’s light, so I don’t even feel like I’m wearing it. And it has a USB C port, unlike some of my other cycling gear. Given the overall “vest” shape of the LED tubes, I imagine it also helps with showing your orientation while you’re in the dark, but that’s just a theory.
Anyways, this is a 10/10 from me. Wanted to share in case anyone was in the market for new gear and wasn’t sure what to get.
