Why does everyone keep mentioning the £6m price for a player? That’s what martin O’Neil was spending 20 years ago. The rate of inflation since then ( price of strips, season tickets etc etc ) tells you that the club should be spending a bit more than that. We’re not looking for the club to put us in financial trouble but we’re not getting value for money
We were all in agreement that Rogers was inheriting the best Celtic side any manager has ever inherited. How have we gone so quickly from that to playing Forrest, Mikey Johnston and Scales in a must win champions league match?! The loss of form of so many we usually rely on is also a concern. The disconnect you speak of could not be more polar from the previous 2 seasons, another thing that has regressed so quickly. I would love to know what happened regarding signings in the summer. Was Rogers made promises and let down? Did we try for a higher calibre of player but fail to attract them? Were no such promises made? Do any other clubs force signings on their manager just because they were already in the pipeline?! I could go on and on. Scunnered is absolutely the right word.
