Nice! As long as you aren’t planning to make a killer profit, and are proficient in reassembling a bike from a bare frame, this should be a fun and rewarding restoration.

Sure it *looks* complete. But it’s gonna need alot of $$ to make it half-rideable. Old Schwinns like this are gaspipe, and old corroded steel rims are hard to true and SUCK trying to brake in the rain.
Once you get new tires ($50-$60) a new chain ($20) and a tune-up ($75-$200) you’re gonna be all emotionally invested in it and this is gonna get lots of downvotes but this bike isn’t worth putting $300 into. You could have bought a way better bike for $50-$75 that was still complete, alot more durable and much lighter.

If you want to take an old bike and make it special this is a great bike. If you want to do that for cheap this is not a great bike.

I have a soft spot for old Chicagos! They were the workhorse of college campuses and bike rentals all over the US. It’s neither light, nor sophisticated, but they were sturdy and reliable.
It’s a bike you can leave out in the rain. A bike that you can chain up with the wimpiest lock and fully expect to see when you get back to it.
I’d just clean and lube the hell out of it, put some cheap tires on, and replace anything you can’t bring back with WD-40 and elbow grease. You’ve got a great townie beater.
It’s a bike for someone who needs a bike.

Nice find for a complete runner. New treads (Paselas) and hit the road. Definitely was spared the usual pounding. Lugged frame! Nice, indeed. I would spring for a rack.
