Headset won’t stay tight
I recently built a 2018 SB5.5 and my Chris King Inset 2 headset won’t stay tight. After every ride I can feel it slightly wobble when I apply my front break. I’ve applied all spec torques in assembly. After each ride I find the only way to resolve it is to loosen the stem, and then the top nut, and then go through those steps in reverse (set preload, then retighten the stem). What could be causing this wobble? I thought maybe… I put my crown race on upside down or something idiotic. But I don’t believe I did. If you see something in the pics or have wisdom to share, please let me know!
