Well, I decided to perform the ultimate sacrifice and saved someone else from using their CC. No real rides other than a good test ride – can’t wait to get it out. Had it down to Salsa Warbird (after looking at Specialized Diverge and Trek Checkpoint also) – then had a first look at the Niner line. Super close geometry to the Warbird I had ridden, but just felt better on this steed. A little more tire clearance (47mm vs 50mm 700c) and a few more mounting points (and fender mounts). Got a great deal (I think) and a little better component group than the WB GRX810. And 9er is a local company.
Only critcism so far is – I think they could have found more places in the graphics for more “Niner” labels.. π /s

Congrats – love my RLT RDO! I run everything from road tires to 2″ MTB tires on it.

Just curious – did you happen to test ride the steel version of this? Itβs one Iβm considering.
