Bike was making a clicking sound for a bit and then this happened after i did a skid. The head of the bolt holding the crank in the bb broke off. What are my options? New bb required or will a bike shop be able to get it out. Also not sure if threads got stripped.

Broken bolts are always a Hail Mary. Worth a shot. Sometimes they can get it to come out, sometimes no. A new BB shouldn’t be much more than ~$30, so that might be the faster route, and not too different costwise after labor gets factored in.

What they said. Charging shop time to remove a bolt is far more expensive for the customer than bb replacement. Also consider moving away from power spline if you’re riding fixie.
