I found this on my specialized enduro 2018 that’s supposed to have a 30.9 seatpost insert. I discovered a seat post shim looking thing in the frame alongside the seatpost. I was wondering could I take it out and fit a 31.6 dropper in there?

Yup. That’s a shim. I couldn’t quite find what the stock diameter is though.
