I still ride my 1983 ST500. I swapped out the downtube shifters for barcons (bar end friction shifters).

Beautiful, I took my sr500 all across Europe and Asia with a diy Burley cargo trailer, (no rack mounts) most bulletproof bike I’ve ever ridden. Enjoy & well done.
