Finally finished my 90’s FUJI Thrill (last photo is how it started). Bought for $60 and am about $150 in on parts.
Converted to 1x, rebuilt the rear hub, quill to threadless, new bars and grips, new seat post and saddle, went from grip shift to triggers, freshened the brakes, new tires, and trued the wheels. It’s been a really fun project and these bikes are so refreshingly easy to work on.
Mainly riding it on light gravel, some mixed use trails, and the occasional underbiked single track. Super fun!
