I just replaced my bottom bracket, a threaded 68mm sram gxp, and it appears to be a bit stiff after installing the cranks. Is this normal, will it loosen up over time?
Typical GXP. They’re always a bit draggy. Probably costs you a watt or two, at the expense of durability. Mostly deal drag, I think.
Might loosen up a tiny bit.

No drag in BBs is really expensive and/or doesn’t last.
That one is fine. Same will go for Shimano.
That drag is from grease and seals. No influence to your rides. Your clothes, your possibly dirty chain will cost more watts

Did you torqued bb and centre bolt of the crank to spec?
If not, that’s the reason.
And I am sorry, if by any chance you over torque’d there a chance that those bearings are ruined because of them being pressed/squished/deformed as well as their races…
