Ordered on the 27th and arrived this morning (30th) to Poland. Got it for sub $500 with the Black Friday offer, referral coupon.
Couldn’t find a single photo of this color online so figured I would help the next person.
Bought it to be a commuter, grocery-getter, tow the kid around in the summer and ride with the wife for leisure. Former road racer, now just ride for fun — I have a Scott Foil and Specialized Diverge for road/gravel.
Bike is far more capable than I thought it would be, managed a solid ride in snow and ice, it rolls nice and the components feel fantastic overall. Quite happy with it overall, was going to just keep flat pedals on it and cruise but might be tempted to throw some SPDs on it and try some more technical stuff.
The bad:
– The blue isn’t as good as the photos online. It’s more of a dark grey. Doesn’t look bad but doesn’t pop as much as I’d hoped.
– Canyon’s QA is lacking. Kickstand I ordered with it only has one proper size screw. Nothing to grease the seat post with. Instructions in the box were for the wrong bike.
– Needed a little fine tuning out of the box with brakes and gears, nothing major, but definitely was not ready “ready to ride”.
Hard to beat the value and quite happy overall.
