I bought the medium size of this bike 3 years ago from bikesonline.com:

Recently I got into a minor accident and the front wheel got run over by a car and the rim is now slightly bent so that the wheel wobbles from side to side while riding. I’m looking to replace the rim and so far have only been able to find the exact one here: [https://www.bikesonline.com.au/entity-mtb-wheels](https://www.bikesonline.com.au/entity-mtb-wheels) but it is half the price of the bike which doesn’t seem worth it.
Is it okay to mismatch rims for back and front? Would any rim with a 29in diameter and 30mm internal width be a suitable replacement?
Any advice on finding a comparable/affordable replacement would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your local bike shop and ask them what they have in their inventory that is affordable and durable for your needs. You don’t have to replace it with the exact same brand and model. $299 for a wheel on a bike that cost $700 is nowhere near reasonable unless you are doing some sort of crazy budget frame build.
