  1. Hard to go wrong with the Marathons. Those combined with some thorn resistant tubes have done wonders for reducing the number of flats I get.

    I’d highly recommend the Marathons. My 32mm Marathons have 4300 miles on them and have never gotten a flat. My 28mm Marathons, on the bike I rode across the USA this summer, have 4000 miles on them and have gotten 3 flats (2 of which happened while the bike was sitting idle).

  3. I am a big fan of tires with a reflective stripe. It seems to make a big difference in being seen from the side. I would go with a tire that has that feature.

  4. Marathon for sure. Don’t know what the Mondial is but Schwalbe marathon tires are the best commute tire imo
