Mountain Biking August 23, 2024Big milestone: my 11y old is now better than me. Not only have I got nothing more to teach him, but I actually genuinely struggle to keep up. Luckily he is a shit climber, so still needs me to pull him up the hill (i.e. me “not skipping leg day”)
Mountain Biking August 23, 2024Last ride at the local this past weekend before I (tie-dye shirt) become a dad in a week or so, and managed to assemble an absolute squad of five. It was a ripper. Beers and glizzys in the parking lot after. Couldn’t ask for more.

Mountain Biking August 23, 2024I recently learned that these weeds are invasive, Russian Thistle. And, since it’s too late in the season, spraying won’t do anything because they have already flowered. So best course of action is to bag em out this year, and get a plan to spray next spring.
