I'm on the fence with this thing, and could use some opinions…
Ex-ebike Compact Neo – similar to the coveted Hooligan frame with some slight differences. Got it for a decent price (I guess) a while ago, and threw on an extra brooks c17, different bars, and smaller sprocket.
So… It's an 8spd freewheel (boo), and the whole groupset kinda sucks and shifts poorly. The tires are also soft, cheap, and have too much resistance. There's one or two other minor things I don't care for either.
I just can't decide if it's worth spending the money for the things I'd like to change – a new wheelset for a cassette, full groupset, and new tires – it just pushes this into a more expensive bike that I just got for fun occasionally, than I think it might be worth.
If, like many in this amazing sub will probably say that I should, if I do, should I go bold and add more color to it, out keep it subtle?

Are you certain it’s an 8speed freewheel? I’ll be honest, I’ve never seen one in real life or advertisements. Are you certain it isn’t a cassette and freehub?
I’ve never seen a freewheel hub with disc rotor mounts. Are you sure it’s not already a freehub?
Can’t really tell what derailleur you have on there. Maybe some closeup pics. The chain looks very slack, could be too long. I think there are easier ways to fix the shifting than to replace the entire drivetrain…
A low cost upgrade to the drivetrain would be to swap to a friction thumb shifter. Lower level drivetrains can really suck with cheap index shifters, but are often much better to use with a simple friction shifter. As for tires, you should be able to find a something decent for a good price.
I think the amount of color you have on it now is kinda perfect. Any more and it runs the risk of looking like aliexpress addiction.
Those chunky little tires look like they will never be efficient enough to enjoy pedaling, so If I was going to spend any money on that, I might convert it back to being an e-bike.
If it were me, I would like to change it to a drop handle. But it will be quite a big custom.
How is it ex-e-bike?
I would color match the saddle and chainring and then it would look perfect IMO.

Heres some inspiration
This is incredible as it is. Do something epic with it. Keep it subtle.
