Mountain Biking February 6, 2025Gear issue – do I need a new cassette? I was having a horrible issue where my bike was skipping multiple teeth, (worse in high gears). My mech had seemed to get a bit sticky and not keeping tension (Deore XT), so I replaced it with a new one and a new chain. Hanger looks straight, cable looks fine.
