Some time ago (was it in July?) I posted here a folding 20-inch single-speed bike project, on which I commuted almost every other day to work since then.

Now, as the snow is out there (yeah, it’s not Florida), slapped a couple of Maxxis minions on there (DHF front and DHR rear), and boy are they grippy (at about 20-25 psi). I think it even grips on the ice, which is insane, given the price tag for spiked tires (x2-x3 of minions, with less knobs and width).

Had to ditch the full-sized fenders, unfortunately, because of tires’ size (2.4 front and 2.3 rear) – they simply cannot fit.
Rack was also unfortunately ditched, because it wasn’t compatible with my quick release SKS fender.

Pictures are from today’s test ride, will put bike lights, bike computer and rear quick release fender on it when I’ll actually take it out tomorrow.

Still planning to put that front basket on, but too lazy to search for a good one on local marketplaces. Backpack it is for now.
