이번 유럽 여행에서 제일 기억에 남는 순간을 꼽으라면 시원한 바람을 가르고 황홀한 자연 풍경에 감탄에 감탄을 거듭했던 자전거 라이딩을 꼽을 것 같아요!
If I need to choose one thing that I miss or I loved from my recent trip to Europe, I would choose the bike ride!
네덜란드의 수도 암스테르담에는 사람이 너무 많아 라이딩을 즐기는 데는 조금 어려운 건 사실이지만, 네덜란드의 부산 격인 로테르담은 자전거로 유명한 건축물들을 돌아보기에 딱이었답니다.
While Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, was quite crowded for bike riding, Rotterdam, was perfect for exploring on a bicycle, with famous architectural landmarks to see.
그리고 대망의 프랑스 안시 지역! 프랑스 현지인들이 은퇴 후 살고 싶어한다는 동네 답게 산과 호수가 어우러지는 풍경이 절경이었습니다.
Next, the beautiful French city of Annecy! It’s a well-known place where even the locals want to live after retiring, and I can see why.
유명한 관광지인만큼 주말에도 자전거를 빌릴 수 있는 곳이 있기 때문에, 구글맵에 “bike rental”이라고 검색하시면 호텔 근처 바이크 렌탈샵을 쉽게 찾으실 수 있을 것 같아요.
As it is a popular destination for travelers, you can search “bike rental” on Google Maps, and you’ll easily find rental shops near your hotel even on the weekends.
다음으로 이번 유럽 여행에서 제일 아쉬웠던 점은 미술관 등 유명 관광지 티켓을 미리 구매하지 않은 점입니다. 네덜란드와 프랑스 화가들의 영향력을 너무 간과했어요.
Next, it was such a bummer that we couldn’t get into popular museums as tickets were sold out I underestimated Dutch and French painters.
1주일 전 정도에 사면 되겠지했는데 왠걸, 암스테르담의 반고흐 뮤지엄, 파리의 오랑쥬리 뮤지엄 등 모두 몇 주치의 티켓이 다 품절이더라구요!
I thought buying tickets a week in advance would suffice, but, to my surprise, tickets for places like the Van Gogh Museum were sold out for weeks!
꼭 방문하고 싶은 유명 미술관과 관광지 및 식당이 있으시다면 몇 달 전에 예약하시는 것을 추천드립니다!
If you have specific museums you want to visit, I highly recommend booking tickets several weeks in advance.
