Is it installed the wrong way? Plastic part is on the drive side. How do I get it out? I have tried p much everything and it has been sitting in penetrating oil for days.
Get the other side out then punch the plastic bits out without fucking up the shell threads. Those plastic bb cups are fucking stupid.

Remove as much plastic as possible without fucking up the threads, eventually you’ll see the metal tube that holds the actual bearings. Once it’s free from both sides, hit it with a hammer on the square tapered ends on one side, it should fall out. Now you’ll have just the two plastic rings stuck in the frame. I used a small hacksaw to weaken it in one spot (be extremely careful not to fuck up the threads), then I used a small flathead screwdriver as a chisel next to the weak spot to push the plastic ring inwards itself so it will snap along the sawed line.
Once you’ve had the metal tube out, you’ll be able to peek inside the frame. On mine, the threads were but a couple of millimetres near the chainstays, so I used the saw there to weaken the ring.
Proceed with patience and caution. Godspeed.
