Last time we checked, the Aerotrain museum was about to be demolished, the Cityrama bus was about to be restored, and the ghost metro of Noisy-le-Grand was about to be redeveloped. But what has happened since? I think it’s about time we had some updates…

I'm glad they got an extension but I do hope they find a new place to display the aerotrains someday. I wonder what the cityrama would look like once restored? Hope it gets showed in this channel, too. And good luck to everyone who is planning to go on that one last final visit for the ghost metro!
Waiting to hear news of the new TTT graffiti at the Final FINAL ghost metro showing.
Saying the French have pride is like saying water is wet. It's astounding that French innovations like these are struggling to find funding and homes! Respect to those working to save this vital history.
Lol, when the accordion started to play, I just had to start singing the classic "the drivers get the day off when we're all late for work again…" 😀
Did Tim ever make that follow-up video on the later story of the Aerotrains that he mentioned at the end of that video?
The music you put behind these videos keeps me highly amused 😀
Don't be afraid for Noisy-le-grand, the sign "Ready next year" will be there a few years ! 😅
Interesting and intriguing as usual. I wish I could get over to France more easily.
Nice with a bit of The Jam.
Thanks for the Normandy Classics link, following them now.
TTT news updates are always welcome! It’s very interesting to find out what’s happening with some of the subjects of your old videos.
salut et fraternité Tim.
tu m'avais promis un troisième épisode sur l'aérotrain, notamment sur celui qui a été incendié, ça fait 2 ans que je l'attend.
espèce de petit con.
Thanks for this update Tim. At least there's some breathing space for the Univem collection. Let's hope that both they and the custodians of the Aerotrains eventually find a successful outcome. Thanks also for the update on the Ciityrama restoration. Looking forward to seeing this return to the road.
Much appreciated, thank you.
I really appreciate this news update style video where you have info you want to share, but each segment isn't quite enough for a full length video.
Indeed the Aérotrains and all the related stuff will be safeguarded in undisclosed locations.
Love the BBC News theme!
It just occurred to me how much this channel contributes over time to urban heritage.
The 21st of October? Like, tomorrow? I think I might be a little late to plan that trip…
Thanks for the tip-off. I just had time to head out there and see the Mayor give a speech about the redevelopment, pull a wall down and hit it with a hammer for the photo-op ground-breaking ceremony, and then head down into Station K, before heading back to Eurostar. Just like you showed before, but I think the display panels from the exhibition were down there. I got some photos of them that I hope I can translate.
Cheers.
Glad this came up on my feed. I saw all three stories earlier this year. Nice to have an update
That's a shame about the Aerocars and their museum. I really hope that they can be kept together in a suitable venue. Thanks for the updates, Tim.
Congratulations for 6 years of your YouTube channel tomorrow. 🎉
Good to know.
I missed out on the SK4000in Noisy-Le-Grand.😢. But I will maybe try and see the Aérotrain.
i suddenly want to play some of The Jam.
