    TTT News: What’s Happening To The Aerotrains? (+ Updates On The Cityrama & Ghost Metro)



    Last time we checked, the Aerotrain museum was about to be demolished, the Cityrama bus was about to be restored, and the ghost metro of Noisy-le-Grand was about to be redeveloped. But what has happened since? I think it’s about time we had some updates…

      I'm glad they got an extension but I do hope they find a new place to display the aerotrains someday. I wonder what the cityrama would look like once restored? Hope it gets showed in this channel, too. And good luck to everyone who is planning to go on that one last final visit for the ghost metro!

      Saying the French have pride is like saying water is wet. It's astounding that French innovations like these are struggling to find funding and homes! Respect to those working to save this vital history.

      Did Tim ever make that follow-up video on the later story of the Aerotrains that he mentioned at the end of that video?

      Thanks for this update Tim. At least there's some breathing space for the Univem collection. Let's hope that both they and the custodians of the Aerotrains eventually find a successful outcome. Thanks also for the update on the Ciityrama restoration. Looking forward to seeing this return to the road.

      I really appreciate this news update style video where you have info you want to share, but each segment isn't quite enough for a full length video.

      Thanks for the tip-off. I just had time to head out there and see the Mayor give a speech about the redevelopment, pull a wall down and hit it with a hammer for the photo-op ground-breaking ceremony, and then head down into Station K, before heading back to Eurostar. Just like you showed before, but I think the display panels from the exhibition were down there. I got some photos of them that I hope I can translate.
