Finally bought a project bike, doing a complete strip down and a respray for learning purposes!
I’ve taken off all the components and made a note of how to put things back together.
Just not sure how to remove the fork and crank off the bike, I’ve attached some photos for reference.
Also I have a old Shimano Claris groupset of my gravel bike, would I be able to get that to work on this bike? The bike currently has a slight crack on one of the crank arms for the pedal so it anyone know if a replacement for that if the Claris is not a option? I understand the casset would also need to be changed which I don’t have a clue if it’ll fit on the current wheels
I’d obviously need to get flat bar gear shifters if the Claris would work.
Cheers in advance, gonna be posting a lot on the forum related to this bike! Looking forward to it!

Here’s a closer photo of the fork for reference
You’ll need a crank-pull tool to get those crank arms off. You may have to soak each side with a solvent. Once crank arms are off, replacing the bottom bracket is not tough. Hex wrench to remove handlebars. Ditto on soaking. The rest is wrenchable.
I concur. Find an indy bike shop and make inquiries.
Bike repair can be a bit of a rabbit hole. Make sure you have a lot of time before undertaking a “major” repair/rebuild. It a get pricey, too.
