Some of these are riding pics, bike pics, bike work pics, and in general just me on a bike. The story with the sanded frame, it’s a bike I’ve ridden for the last two years, and progressed on a lot. The middle of this season, I got a massive scratch on the downtube, and thought I would use it as an opportunity. I stripped the bike down, sanded it to metal, and repainted it from scratch. I overhauled the drivetrain and cockpit, and cleaned it up. I also got a second bike this season after getting into downhill, a 2010 demo, which has opened me up to racing downhill! I competed in two events this season, and dispute not going great, I’m going to race again next season, and hopefully be more competitive. In a few of the pictures, I am riding with my closest friend and coach, who has helped me learn so much. All in all, this season went well, but like any other, it had ups and downs. I broke parts, had some minor injuries, and went bankrupt babying my bikes, and I can’t wait for next season!

Is that bike more than 4 years old? Does it still work? Why are they able to shred on it? How has it not crumbled into pieces yet?
