The "Best " bike is the one you like the best and can afford . all other forms of hype that are passed off as generalized best is all , well,,, hype
The slash would be a bit quirky if its chain retention worked. As is, it's a bit of an eye sore. I hope Trek can fix those chain dropping problems on later iterations if they really think the high pivot is worth pursuing.
