[1st pic] I had this bike for several years now, (way back in 2010), and I have always wondered what these holes are for [2nd-3rd pic]. I cannot ask anyone nor to wherever this bike came from since I’ve won it from a raffle in a fast-food chain (thus kickstarting my enthusiasm for mtb’ing)
For the second question, I bought a rear rack [4th-5th pic] but can’t seem to find a screw hole that was supposed to be near the rear-wheel bearing to attach it to. I am still looking for alternatives though.

Probably breather holes. During manufacturing, the frame is subject to some crazy temperature change stuff. You can run into problems with distortion if air can’t get in and out of the frame tubes.
You probably can’t attach that kind of rack to it. Racks and rear suspension can be problematic. How do you anticipate using the rack? Lately there are some pretty interesting bags that mount under the saddle.
