Hello everyone, I cannot find a solid answer online about this.
On my CF8 the front tire left side spokes are crossed while the right side is straight from the hub (the rear tire spokes are flipped). Is this a normal thing to do? I’ve owned several bikes and they’re all crossed for the spoke pattern. Thanks!

Doing it on the disc side can help increase the wheel’s stiffness under braking. On my DT carbon rims they are crossed on both sides of the flange. It’s not a mistake or anything, they have to spec longer spokes to cross them.
