I own a buy/sell shop. Back in May a kid came in and sold me a bike. I am 47 and haven’t ridden a bike in more than 30 years. I tested the bike and it dawned on me how fun riding a bike is. I bought the bike and began commuting 3 times a week, 5-7 miles each way. I am on a beautiful bike path that follows the coast line at a few points. Being in nature has really helped my mental health. I have so much to be thankful for, and I am thankful that kid came in, sold me a bike and changed my path in life.
The photo is of a bike I saw at a local flea market. This is the bike I learned on. I almost bought it, but knew I didn’t have the space so I left it there…I sort of regret it.
