Hi y’all. So i’m a newbie on this but i want to bikepack through my country and neighbouring countries that are in Central America. And i’m looking for a used bike to try myself and see how i do.
I just saw this State Bicycle and i don’t know the model yet, maybe you do. But i want to know how it looks to y’all, the price is $600 but maybe i can get it lower.
Just looking for honest opinions on this one 🙂

Can’t say anything about the condition, but the price sounds fair to me. Should be a capable gravel bike for bike packing.

Looks like they didn’t do any crazy stuff with it. I don’t like the saddle (the condition and the model overall) and the tyres (unsure how much wear is on them). Would also check the chain wear and inspect all the details that can be bent and bargain upon that. Oh, and do a test drive, no use if you don’t like the feeling.
I would think in Central and S America you’d want big(ger) tires.
