Day 8 of our cycle along the Danube takes us from Bad Gögging along gravel paths and quiet roads to Weltenburg Abbey, a wealthy beer brewing religious institution nestled in the bend of the Danube. From their we push and ride our bikes over the ridge into the sleepy town of Kelheim. There is only one more day of cycling to go, as tomorrow we cycle from Kelheim to our destination, Regensburg.
