Let me show you the most beautiful parts of Malta!

The southwest shoreline of the island of Malta is one of the best areas to explore and be outdoors.

In this section of the island, you can find some of the most dramatic landscapes, best sunset spots, most stunning dive wrecks and underwater snorkeling, as well as hiking, biking, rock climbing and cave exploring!

Here you can find the ‘Blue Grotto’, a naturally occurring rock overhang jutting out from the mainland. You have fantastic views from the cliffs above or from sea level, as you can swim or take a boat tour through it and the caves that surround it.

You can stop for a bite in Żurrieq and scuba dive the Um El Farroud wreck, or hike the coastline to the Dingli cliffs for views of the countryside while watching the sun fade into the Mediterranean.

While you’re there, check out the nearby Ħaġar-Qim temples for some amazing culture and history, and the Għar Lapsi area for gorgeous views of the seaside while you hike.

Enjoy this beautiful area of Malta and check out the wonderful outdoor things there are to do here.

Be safe, travel responsibly, and get outside!
