I have some flat mount trp spyres i could technically make work on here with adaptors but have heard they dont mate very well with these levers (though they did come with this group from a donar bike) has anyone on here used the flat mount to iso adaptors before with success? Is going with another set a better option? Would appreciate the feedback:)

Avid BB7 with compressionless housing.
There’s always going to be a pull length problem with any other option, right? You’d need an inline pull converter but I’ve never used one of those.
I use IS to post mount. No problems, you just have to be careful to get the size appropriate for your disc size.
I have the absolute cheapest single piston Tektro calipers they make on one bike, with their cheapest levers (340’s), and they work great, quite powerful actually.
Your bike looks awesome by the way, tough lookin’. I just rolled out my first almost completed monster-cross a couple weeks ago.

Spyres is supposed to work with drop bar levers, and afaik there shouldn’t be any problem going from flat to iso – though I haven’t meddled with disc brakes a lot – I run them with 105 drops and I love them
I would go with juintech R1 post mount personally. but flat mount to IS adapters should work fine, not the prettiest things in the world but they’ll function
Trp spyre ? It’s pretty much the best you can have that is not Paul or hybrid hydraulic-mecanical (juin tech, trp hyrd…)
