I was trying to lift my folded bike when the tensioner assembly suddenly came apart and fell off. I guess it had gotten loose since I haven’t tightened it in years.
Were you able to put yours back together?

Get a BIG flat screwdriver, you will need some leverage to pop the head of the tension bolt back in: assemble the bolt and it’s metal “saddle” in position, put the flat bit by the saddle nose, get the head of the bolt as close as possible then use the screwdriver as a lever to pop the bolt head in place.
Before doing that, grease a bit on the thread, make sure the nut can move free skiing the thread.
