I couldn't decide whether to buy a brand new bike or a used one, so I decided to build my own.
My first and only bike so far, De Rosa Professional built with Columbus SLX, Campagnolo Record Titanium 10s, and Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 wheels. Weighs 8.7 kg and rides like a rocket. I know there are some paint chips, but I think they just add character to the build.

I used to work in a bike shop in the 90s that specialised in Italian road bikes, and we sold Colnago, Pinarello, Fondriest, Coppi etc. De Rosa was the very top of the range, considered to be the best quality out of all of them. The price reflected that!
Nice bike, truly timeless.
This is a truly gorgeous bike! But you *gotta* fix them pedals, bruh!
I see Campagnolo, I upvote.
full campy component. Noicee
amazing, I love the “neo retro” bikes even when not as retro, i.e. 2012 frame…
rim brakes just look better man, and this comes from a guy who rides and loves his specialized aethos
I owned a de rosa in the nineties – and regret selling it. Keep it and have fun with it!

Lovely
Are we not worried about the rear tire clearance against the seatpost?
Modern brifters fit on vintage 26mm bars?
