Join me for the sprint distance of the 2026 Lithuanian Mountain Bike Orienteering Championship, held in the city of Telšiai.
The Men’s Elite course featured 16 controls packed into a fast and demanding sprint. The opening section set a quick rhythm, but the real challenge came at controls 4 through 9, where the route entered a technically difficult area with a dense track network and short, punchy climbs. Constant route choices, rapid map reading, and explosive efforts on the hills made this stretch decisive for the overall result.
