Hello, I have a few questions before building my gravel wheelset. I weigh over 100 kg (approximately 114 kg), and I would like to know if a 24-hole carbon rim is strong and durable enough for my riding conditions. The rim specifications are 700C, 24 holes, 44 mm depth, 30 mm external width, 23 mm internal width, and it is tubeless compatible. I plan to build the wheels using Pillar PSR Aero 1423 straight-pull spokes with brass nipples. My riding will be mainly on paved roads and compact dirt/gravel roads, without aggressive off-road riding, jumps, rock gardens, or heavy MTB trails. Based on these conditions, do you think this wheelset will provide sufficient strength, stiffness, and long-term reliability for a rider of my weight? Have you built similar 24-hole wheels for riders over 100 kg, and if so, how have they performed over time? Also, do you think the Pillar PSR Aero 1423 spokes are the best choice for this build, or would you recommend a different spoke model? I am looking for a wheelset that is lightweight but, above all, safe, reliable, and durable for long-distance gravel riding. Thank you for your advice.
