This is a giant talon 2012 29r 2.
Running maxxis rekon race 2.35
New shaming bb, new Shimano cassette, new chain ring and a 1x conversion. New stem, new brake pads, pedals, chain
This trip was I would say 60% uneven pavement/neighborhood/downtown. 30% dirt/gravel 10% root infested single track

My advice is to get a gravel bike
What parts of the ride were uncomfortable?
I miss the days of coke-white housing. We’ve lost our way.
67 miles is 100km. Next milestone is 100 miles. Then 200km.
Units are fun.
Buy another bike when you want another bike. Repeat.
N+1 for sure. I love my full squish, cheap commuter, and my roadie but something is different about the gravel ride — exploring, some singletrack, a different type of freedom of surface that is simply amazing. I ride a Giant Revolt Advanced and love the fit and feel for the terrain in my area
Sick jumps are harder, and more risky, on a gravel bike. #MTBForLife
