Finished a resto-mod on a classic Canfield Bros Balance. Plan was to make a 2016 Medium into a modern Small. Chopped 68mm off the seat tube, -1° angleset, 26/27.5 mini-mullet, 170/165mm travel, 155mm cranks, sticky Assagai front. Shimano deore 4-piston brakes and 11spd drivetrain. Custom wheels: XT hubs, double butted spokes with brass nipples, Stan’s Flow mk4 rims. Old-takeoff Rocky Mountain branded handlebar, stem, 180mm seatpost, Blackspire chainring and bashguard
Need to find missing hardware for it, but it’ll have an Aenomay Switchgrade on in too Built to last and be serviceable.
