This is a tire from a Giant Revolt 1 (2022). I had to get a new tire because the previous one lost its bearing while riding and damaged the hub+axle (no idea how it happened).
When I put the cassette in the new tire, I got this wiggling gear. No noticeable issue, but it feels strange to have it like that. The last two gears are the ones that were loose when I took it apart. Not sure if I missed something.
Any clues?

starting with most to least likely:
cassette not tight. crank that bad boy down.
Missing spacer somewhere. those cassettes have a spacer between most cogs, if one is missing it will not tighten all the way.
Different freehub spec. Some HG freehubs are longer than others, you might have a long one. Throw a spacer behind the largest cog to accommodate for this.
Something else funky is going on, would need to take apart check things over. If in doubt take to your local bike shop.
When you say tire you probably mean the wheel. I had a similar issue recently, make sure the cassette is fully tightened! If you’re ignoring the torque value, just make it bloody tight.
Ten speed cassette on an 11-speed-compatible freehub. Probably missing the spacer that goes behind the cassette.
I’d double check the spacers, but there often aren’t separate spacers between the smallest 2-3 cogs. Then check that the notches are all aligned. Sometimes the last two cogs don’t mesh immediately and you have to jiggle them to get them fully seated. Or the last cog often isn’t all the way on the splines, so when you tighten the lock ring, it doesn’t push adequately against the other cogs.
You should be able to seat everything and hold with your hand without anything wiggling. Check that it’s all stable before tightening the lockring down all the way.

Ten-speed cassettes require a 1.0 mm spacer between the cassette and the freehub body. If that spacer is missing, your gears will wobble like that.
