After crossing the border into Belgium we find a magnificent spot in the woods to put up camp and make ourselves at home. The next days bring ideal cycling conditions and it’s just a joy to be out and about. We reflect on the past year coming home because of the virus and look forward to our upcoming adventure to the south of Europe…

  1. One of our favourite things of Bicycle Touring is to be out and about, get in tune with nature’s rhythm and to experience a different pace of life… Tell us your favourite things about bicycle touring!? 😄

  2. I don't understand … you are beautiful people but you send me so much melancholy … even when you eat and yet it should be the most beautiful moment

    Sorry if I'm Italian.💖

  3. Hello, my friend.
Wow! It's a bicycle camping video that gives you fun and healing.
Especially, the forest scenery is fantastic.
I'm going to watch your full video.
    Have a lucky 💚💜💗 day.
    👍👍👍🤙👌

  4. I just watched some of your videos and would like to know what handlebar rise you use? I need something like that for my bike but can't find a good 1.
Hoi ik heb net wat van jullie filmpjes gekeken en zag dat jullie het stuur lekker comfortabel hoog hebben staan. Zou je mij misschien kunnen vertellen welke stuur en stuurverhoger jullie gebruiken?

  5. i'm just bouncing around from show to show, back and forth between continents.
doesn't matter. i still like this channel more and more and i will be a little sad when i've finally seen them all.
    thnx.

  6. Really enjoyed watching that love the pace of it. We are hoping to come for two week tour from England over to the Netherlands and Belgium late summer/early autumn

  7. I'm subscribed and have enjoyed the videos of the various places you've traveled. Wife and I are planning a tour in NL and Belgium for summer 2023. We've found a lot of resources for NL but not as much for Belgium. While most of our time will likely be in the NL, we would like to dip into Flanders as well.

I see pics and videos of NL-style cycle paths in Flanders but I've been unable to find any specific guides or info identifying their locations. Do you have any favorites or recommendations for where to research more info? (By the way, we will "credit card touring" rather than camping if that makes in difference)

Thanks in advance for any tips and I look forward to more entertaining videos from you in the future. Cheers from California.

  8. Just a thought… you might like to try cooking on an alcohol stove when using titanium. It takes longer to cook but far less likely to burn the food. A lot less noise too.

Either that, or there are materials you can get that spread out the heat (heat diffusers). I have just got a cloth because it’s lighter in weight than a metal heat diffuser, but haven’t tried it yet. I watched a bloke on YouTube doing it with his gas burner some time ago. If it doesn’t work as I expect it to, I’ll either get a small metal diffuser or I’ll carry my chain and hook for a tripod (cut three equal lengths of sticks), and hang the pot over the heat source, lowering or raising up in height, depending on what’s being cooked.

Good to see you both out again 🫶🏻
