Hey guys, since im from Eastern Europe, I wanted to ask, preferably someone from Germany, if this website is actually fraudulent? I've read Radon is direct-to-consumer brand and their partner is bike-discount.de. So is,by any chance, this website legit or no?

They are not (yet?) on the „blacklist“ from Radon, but Radon does mention they only only sell via Bike Discount, so I’d ask there before buying…

You can let chatgpt check stuff like this for you. I did the same with a shop that sold the midea portasplit AC. Everything seemed legit, but the price was too good and they only accepted pay in advance, which made me highly suspicious. It was the top result in Google though.
But yeah. Chatgpt marked it as 100% scam. Money goes somewhere in Spain and you’ll never see it again.
Apparently they take real shops that don’t have a Webshop and make a fake Webshop
The number they report to be registered under belongs to a different bike shop that does not sell the brand and has a different name and reported leadership

That’s a fake shop. Street view shows a very small hairdresser at that address, there’s no entry in the german Handelsregister for fahrkitshop, tax ID is for a different bikeshop in Bremen.
Also the name just sounds wrong. Purchasing manager “Victory Erasmus Tony” listed in the imprint sounds even more wrong.

Some red flags – looks like scam. If you follow through with the cart and transport options, you will probably be left with only an advance payment option. That’s when the scam will be 100 % obvious.
Prices alone are not, though, could be legit. The Radon’s are older models, I have seen them at half price throughout the years…
The GmbH (company) that’s listed in the Imprint (Impressum) doesn’t exist in Germany.

Month ago I dropped on this sub a comment with quick checklist that lets you detect most of the common scams:
>Quick scam indicators:
+ All their products are unreasonably discounted (…)
+ Only credict card / PayPal payments (some local legit shops may sometimes accept only credit card payments but no scam will offer standard payment gateway)
+ Lack of social media profiles (with decent history and activity)
*+ About us* section with incorrect address (bonus points for verification with street view and different map services based on OSM).
There were some scams in outdoor industry where the rules above wouldn’t help because scammers may look for some tiny shop in rural town that has no webpage, only social media and they may run a fake webpage as their scam.
