What a beautiful day for a ride! I was a bit nervous about riding in London but Richmond Park is fab, so much better than we expected and the Deer were an added bonus!

Thanks for the lovely company – we will have to get another ride in soon, me and Kyle are missing that cafe! (Kyle is now an avocado convert)

  1. Another great video, โ€œRide & Chatโ€ yes thatโ€™s what I like to do, had a great little ride today, cycling makes you feel soooo good.

  2. Itโ€™s taken years but eventually the Richmond Park authorities have barriered off some of the roads there reducing the amount of cars cutting through. This makes it so more enjoyable and safer especially at the weekends. Glad you gave it the thumbs up ๐Ÿ‘ as so many complain.

  3. Lovely to see our northern cousins in Richmond Park. Used to ride it regularly and race the cars (much to their surprise) 40 years ago. Loads more cyclists now. Which is a good thing.

  4. I would not like to ride the streets of London – seems so chaotic and dangerous. Glad you enjoyed the park, it did look beautiful ๐Ÿ’š

  5. I can see Kyle's disgust at finding avocado in his bacon sandwich! ๐Ÿ˜‚
Looked like a lovely ride Amy though I was a bit disappointed not to see Richmond regular YTuber Federico.

  6. I use to ride in Richmond Park when I was in the Amy in the 90s when I use to race for the army … Never seen it like that ever, never seen so many riders … Love watch you and Kyle, proper inspired by you too ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿšด๐Ÿšด keep the vids coming…

  7. Great video Amy and your caring heart and strong compassion for others is exactly why we need you around here. You are able to understand and empathize with anyone struggling with mental health issues. Please keep that energy for cycling and helping people; its the joy driving that engine through life mate. Lots of love to you and TTFN back to ya!

  8. Discovered richmond park in the summer, its only 7 milones from me. Bought a new bike and every other day I would always do 1 or 2 laps there (amateur mode). Would always speedy gonzales it down the hills at sawyer or Bromfield, 58kmh on a hybrid – did a few YIPPEEES lol. Richmond park (and its surroundings) is a beauty for sure! Deers are stunning, once I had to let a flock of deers (bambi?) go past me, whilst riding a narrow passage – off road. The huge male stag said f-this "I'm just jumping the barrier!" male testosterone!

  9. Lol, riding on the grass is just what my other half would have done ๐Ÿ˜‚

Nice one Kyle, you got Amy closer to the ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ too๐Ÿ˜Š

  10. I just wish i had someone to ride with, my bike club doesnt have reasonable rides for my level , its either during working hrs ok the rides are way too long..at least i can live through your rides

  11. Welcome. Iโ€™m about 20 minutes from Richmond Park by bike. Itโ€™s great for getting out for a quick spin. Obviously you have seen how popular it gets. Sometimes a little too popular as the traffic does build up. Iโ€™d also recommend a trip to Bushy Park, which is a short trip across the river from Richmond Park. There are lots of Fallow and Red deer. Itโ€™s mating season, which means that the stags will be rutting. Another plus is fewer cars and itโ€™s flat if you donโ€™t like hills ๐Ÿ™‚ although you canโ€™t ride around in circles like you can in Richmond Park

  12. Tatton park is cool to cycle through, lots of deer and the occasional person bungee jumping. There are some nice quiet cycle lanes and cafes in the area too.

  13. Thanks Amy and Kyle for that few minutes riding together. Your company was great! I'll be glad to show you some tours near Milan when eventually you'll come here! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  14. If you are ever back in the area look up "Richmond Park Pretzel" It's a good workout, about 30k and obviously you have to get round in under an hour. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Also be careful around the deer. They advise you to keep a certain distance from them. (The ones with Antlers are the boy deer ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚)

  15. Great to see you and Kyle in Richmond Park, and it looks like you enjoyed it! I only live a short ride away. Certainly gets busy the weekends,
and absolutely heaving in the summer though. I bet you noticed more traffic in London than in Derbyshire?
Always some decent people to talk to there too (and the Deer talk back sometimes!). I know of the Moloko riders, as my girlfriend has ridden with them. Lovely people and plenty of chatting.
