I'm a novice at biking as an adult, as a kid I used to ride my ride all the time around the neighborhood. This is my bike, Moscato, I bought her back in 2020 when covid shut my gym down, and I wanted another way to exercise. I don't have crazy amounts of money, so I paid a little over $128. It's a Huffy brand 18-speed shifter with 26-inch tires. I've looked up videos of how shifting works, but I've absorbed the bare minimum, shift up for downhill, and down for uphill. That knowledge works for me because I live in a desert rural town that's mostly flat with a few hills here and there. These days, it's so hot, it'll be 110° today, I mostly ride to and from the gym early in the morning or near or after sunset. Thanks for the fun group. Happy riding out there! 😄❤️🚲

thats a bike shaped object
Excellent now go get it dirty!
Seen Seth almost make it to the bottom of a trail on one of these.
Ride the hell out of that until you’re ready for something a little gnarlier.
And don’t let the bike snobs give you a heard time. I have a quiver of kick ass bikes now. But I rode absolute shit until I was 40, because it’s what I could get my hands on.
The important part is to ride.
Anyone who likes riding a bike is a friend of mine! Enjoy it and stay safe!
If that’s the type of riding you like the most you might search Facebook marketplace for a rigid fork ‘80s or 90s mountain bike, you can usually find a good deal for around $70-100. they’re hella fun for that type of riding
Get some miles under your belt, have fun, stay hydrated.
Get rid of it and get an Ozark Trail from Walmart for under $400
Your biking life will be better
Not suggesting you spend $6,000 on a bike like most people in here, $400 will get you something infinitely better than this. The most bang for your buck around.
After six years on this thing you’ve gotten your money’s worth a hundred times over
