Hey Team!
Been rigging up some bags the fast few years and I had a question for the crowd.
I have always been able to find cordura in ready supply. I am interested in dabbling in some better hues and prints in the fabric but am confused as to what will and won’t work or hold up. Typically I’m not afraid to experiment but I have a few project in the cue that won’t be able to be field tested prior to getting the piss beaten out of them.
*The Question*
Are there any other suitable tried and true materials that preferably don’t require waxing to be water proof?
I have considered sail material, poly ripstop like them good ol 90s cargos, and decking/sun umbrella material.
Any input would be fantastic! I find alternative materials get some funky patterns, like some damn fast cheetah print, and I’m keen to go ham.
