Day 7 of my Honda Forza 350 tour across France became the toughest and most physically demanding day of the entire journey.
Leaving Serres, I rode through spectacular scenery with stops in Nyons and the beautiful hilltop village of Le Poët-Laval before continuing into the Ardèche. As the afternoon wore on, temperatures climbed relentlessly to around 36°C, turning what should have been a relaxing ride into a real test of endurance.
The roads through the Ardèche were magnificent, but hours in full riding gear, relentless heat and dehydration meant I finally arrived in Lablachère completely exhausted. It was a timely reminder that motorcycle touring isn’t just about distance or beautiful roads—it’s about knowing your limits and getting there safely.
The Honda Forza 350 once again proved itself to be a comfortable, reliable and remarkably economical touring scooter, even in extreme conditions.
