    What a way to start the Tour of Denmark (2.PRO 🇩🇰)! We executed our plan perfectly, put the peloton under pressure and ended up fighting for the win. There was just one problem… Wout van Aert.

    A professional cycling team, founded in 2021 as Tour de Tietema Cycling Team by Bas Tietema, Josse Wester and Devin van der Wiel. What started as a bold idea on YouTube has grown into a team challenging the pro peloton.

      I guess all of us hope for a different outcome but all of us know lucas doesn't really have it. What i hope to see is a game where 1. everyone rides according to the team's actual level and 2. Some of the leadout guys getting a shot as they might actually surprise everyone and be better than lucas 😅🦋💥

      I personally love these videos,even tho i watched the stage live its pretty nice to see the onboard camera in the car for example so in stages like a shorter video its appreciated

      Well done boys!

      There have been times when Lukas was so hard on himself even when he finished sixth or second, probably feeling like he HAD TO make a win happen to earn his keep.
      This feels much more healthy now. Of course he‘s bummed that he did not win, but I hope that him and the whole team can be content with coming in second behind absolute big dogs of world cycling.

      Rockets don‘t have cylinders, but anyway, ‘The Rockets‘ seem to be firing on all cylinders – Niklas, the Kopeckys, Lukas, Budding, everyone on and off the bike – the plans are there, the commitment is there, the effort is there.
      In a not to distant future, I‘m pretty sure, many a win will be there as well.

      I won't lie, I am and will forever be a WvA fan, but I just can't help it want this team to win!

      Something about David vs Goliath I guess. Go Rockets!

      It is incredible that this plan turned out almost exactly as predicted.
      But what's even crazier for me, is the Lukas's tactical insight during the final kilometer:

      WVA decides to position Laporte at the front of the group and take Lukas's wheel for the final sprint. Lukas knows this reduces his chances of winning the sprint. So, Lukas calls Matyas over the radio and asks him to do the final lead-out for the group. Matyas takes over Laporte and starts accelerating even harder. The rest of the group reacts immediately, but Lukas deliberately leaves a gap to the rider in front of him, forcing Wout 1. to work extra hard to close that gap and 2. allowing Lukas to end up on WVA's wheel for the final sprint as a bonus. What a brilliant move in the final kilometer of such a crazy finale. An absolute tactical masterclass!

      I am convinced that this final action made him come so close to victory. Otherwise, Wout would have won the sprint more easily, and Lukas might even have finished third or fourth…

      Great to see some race content. We've missed it.
      Top video too!
      Unlucky in the stage. Super plan and execution, but Visma played that really smart, covering the break move with a satellite rider for Wout. It was inevitable
