    I Tried to Survive the Tour de France Route



    EPISODE #226 –
    I head off for an adventure in France where I take on the L’Étape du Tour for the second year in a row… this event is equal parts brutal and beautiful, it’s a ride like no other and it really didn’t disappoint.
    Getting to tick of bucket list climbs like the Telegraph and the Galibier, oh and not to mention finishing on the famous Alpe d’huez… this is a ride that’s concocted in your dreams and it’ll stay in my mind forever.

      Seemed like an overreaction to digging out the rider on the Galib descent!! Ok i weren’t there but the footage didn’t seem to bad!!

      Thank you Thomas for always motivating me and many others to keep pedalling!
      What better motivation than to tick of the 1000km challenge than watching this video. Would be a dream come true

      20:08 / 28:34 Yeah mate, those moves could have been dangerous, but with 17,000+ riders in an event like this, you’re going to get all skill levels. Those bad lines were mistakes. Calling people idiots and berating them, though, was a deliberate choice and a proper bad look. 👎

      The most impressive part is eating a big jambon beurre and putting out almost 300w in the next climb ! Dude I would have my stomac exploding and craving a nap xD

      Don't be a bully bro, the guy on the Canyon didn't know better. Not everyone is at the level of having a custom tattooed frame and MAAP sponsor. You were a newbie once too remember that!

      EPIC ride man! I cycled a lot of this route in 2015 as part of a training camp, at 17:05, right next to the dam, theres a little cave/shelter, i have a video of us hiding from a hail storm when it suddenly dropped to -2! Haha 😊

      I think I'd rather do that ride at any other time, it's a 6 hour day for a few decent riders together , stop and have a coffee half way around and ride the roads for free, sportives actually suck 🤣
