Here we go again people! It is winter 2026 and so its the classic mix of fog, mud rain and this time a little bit of snow. It really is an awful winter for conditions. Remember in October when it was really dry? No neither can I.

So a fairly short ride on this one, about 13 miles all together. Setting off from the Fox House Pub along Houndkirk, through Lady Cannings and up on the road to Redmires reservoir. Then up past Stanagae pole and off the Edge down the Plantation descent, always a bit of an iconic section of trail. This was basically a waterfall on this visit. Final stage was a climb back around to do the full run along Burbage vlley lower before getting back to the pub.

Funny even though the conditions aren’t great it is still good to get out! Well at least that is what I keep telling myself ๐Ÿ™‚
